Truth and Freedom

Just a quotation to ponder today

  •  about what it means to be a true disciple of Jesus
  • what it means to know the truth
  • and how that makes for freedom.

This comes from John's account of Jesus' teaching in the temple at Jerusalem, during the last days before his crucifixion.
"Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, If you continue in my word, you are truly my disciples; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.' " John 8: 31-32
