One of the things I like about winter in the northern hemisphere is that sometimes there are beautiful sunrises. And after a long dark winter night a sunrise can surprise as a sign of hope. That is why I have chosen a sunrise photo for today's Advent reflection #watch. Day 2 of the #AdventWord calendar this year has the word #watch as a trigger for Advent reflection. I am trying to post a response to each day's reflection this Advent. The reflection for 'watch' on that digital calendar has these words: "God is always present and always doing a new thing in the world around us.  Watch, so we don't miss it.  Watch, so we can be open to being changed by God's presence.  Watch, so that we may be able to share the good news of God with others."
